As a lifelong animal advocate and animal caretaker, Marie started Pawesome Pet Patrol to officially WORK WITH ANIMALS fulltime as a professional petsitter in 1998, after a few years of being both the massage therapist and the petsitter... She grew up in Sweden with an understanding of animal welfare and a high devotion towards family pets and their needs. Having been involved with animal rescue and worked on the behalf of animals most of her life, the notion to follow her heart working with animals "for real" wasn't far behind.
A certified massage therapist by trade, and having had many years of running her own business, Marie now has experience enough to combine her skills of organisation and detail with her love for the animals. She is a member in good standing with both major pet sitting/care associations in the country: National Association of Professional Pet Sitters and Pet Sitters International.
The security and safety of your home and personal belongings are of utmost importance to me and I will take responsibility for things that occur that are within my scope.
In case the need for a substitute Pet Sitter comes up - I will be happy to give references without taking responsibility for those services that consequently may be provided. On occassion I also employ Quality Assistance for the care of your pet.
